Albert D. Hibbard, 85, passed away April 7, 2015 after a short stay at the Grand Islander Center. He leaves behind two daughters. Bernard J. “Bernie” Kane, 91, of Newport, passed away April 11, 2015 at home. He was the husband of Catherine (Bradley) Kane and the husband of the late Rita L. (Calder) Kane. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He leaves behind five children, 11 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, April 16 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church. A celebration of life will follow at La Forge Casino Restaurant. Donations in his memory may be made to the St. Joseph’s Church Food Pantry, 5 Mann Ave., Newport, RI 02840.

Mary Maida, 95, of Portsmouth, passed away April 8, 2015. She leaves behind her two daughters and sons-in-law, Geri and Fred Zilian of Portsmouth and Claudia and John Chibbaro of Haworth, N.J., and five grandchildren.

James M. McCabe, 64, of Portsmouth, passed away April 10, 2015 at home. He was the husband of Donna (Paschoal) Mc- Cabe and leaves behind four children and three grandchildren. Donations in his memory may be made to the James McCabe Memorial Fund, People’s Credit Union, 858 West Main Road, Middletown, RI 02842.

Carmen Maria Morrone, 104, of Middletown, passed away April 13, 2015 at John Clarke Nursing Center. Calling hours will be held Thursday, April 16 from 5 – 7 p.m. at the Memorial Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held April 17 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Joseph’s Church Restoration Fund, 5 Mann Ave., Newport, RI 02840.

Jean “Bean” Sabetti, 68, of Newport, passed away April 9, 2015 at home. She was the wife of the late James Sabetti. She leaves behind her children Doug Sabetti (Sue) of Newport, Jeff Sabetti (Donna) of Middletown, Kirsten Lynne of Portsmouth, and James Sabetti Jr. of San Diego, Calif.

Rose Wynperle, 99, of Portsmouth, formerly of Middletown, passed away April 6, 2015 at Newport Hospital. She was the wife of the late Charles J. Wynperle and the late Anthony Lewis. She leaves behind her children, Barbara Lewis of Portsmouth and Frank Lewis of Middletown, and several grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
