Bradley P. Barlow, 89, of Middletown, passed away June 28, 2016 at his home. He was the husband of the late Emily (Schwarz) Barlow. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and served in World War II. He leaves behind three children, eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. His funeral will be held Thursday, July 7 at Hambly Funeral Home, with calling hours from 4 -6 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 6 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Ronald Bernier officiating. Burial with military honors will be on July 8 at 10 a.m. in Middletown Cemetery. Anna P. Carreiro, 102, of Middletown, passed away June 24, 2016 at Grand Islander Health Care Center, Middletown. She was the wife of the late Ernest J. Carreiro. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 1 St. Jude Place Building, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 300, Memphis, TN 38105.

Mary Victoria (Blight) Clearo Gray, 61, of Portsmouth, passed away June 21, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. She leaves behind her mother, Dorothy Lopes, her son Russell Clearo and partner Deb Sheehan and children. Donations in her memory may be made to the Visiting Nurse Service of Newport and Bristol Counties, 1184 East Main Road, Portsmouth, RI 02871.

William E. Kirkpatrick, 75, passed away June 22, 2016. He leaves behind his wife, Linda, two sons and two grandsons. A memorial service was held at St. George’s School chapel. Donations in his memory may be made to Sail Newport, 60 Ft. Adams Dr., Newport RI 02840.

Brian G. Lipinski, 45, of Newport, passed away June 25, 2016, at Newport Hospital after a long battle with multiple sclerosis. Calling hours will be Friday, July 1, from 4 – 7 p.m., at the Connors Funeral Home, Portsmouth. His funeral will be July 2, at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Church, Portsmouth. John Anthony Napolitano “Jack,” 69, of Newport passed away June 23, 2016 at home after a brief illness, surrounded by family. Jack was born on June 16, 1947 in Jacksonville, Florida and grew up in Newport. He was Vietnam veteran serving aboard the USS Newport News 1967-68. He began a career in insurance sales in 1971 upon graduation from the Community College of Rhode Island. He leaves behind his wife of 49 years, Jeanne-Marie (Kemp) Napolitano, current Mayor of Newport and his children, Tracey Napolitano of Newport, Sean Napolitano (Andrea), Michael (Meaghan), Joseph Napolitano, Jennifer Arnold of Newport, and his four grandchildren. Jack was a member of the Middletown Rotary for the past 25 years, serving as president in 1994-1995 and also served on the Board of Trustees for CCRI since 2005. He was member of the Jaycees and inducted into the Alumni Association Society of the Knights in 2007.
